The transfer of players and the likeness of others in the team

Alex Song could find a new home at Liverpool or Manchester United, or return tor Arsenal.

Rumours, gossip, transfer news and signings from all of the top European clubs. It's Transfer Talk time!

Sold for a Song

Liverpool and Manchester United are sniffing around former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song as the 26-year-old looks for an exit route from Barcelona.

Song left the Gunners to join Barca for 15 million pounds in 2012 but has struggled for first-team opportunities, making only 19 appearances in La Liga this season.

The Daily Star claims Song is keen on a return to Arsenal, where he played from 2005 to 2012, but a switch to Liverpool or United seems more likely as both clubs are in the market for midfield reinforcements.

The Daily Mail has a different take on Song's future, however, and says Arsene Wenger would consider a bid for the Cameroon international, with Lars Bender and Morgan Schneiderlin also listed as targets.

Liverpool launch Lallana bid

It looks like Liverpool won't be happy until they've removed the fixtures and fittings at Southampton, with the Reds launching a 25 million-pound raid for Adam Lallana on the same day a deal was agreed for Rickie Lambert.

The Guardian says Liverpool have increased their initial offer of 20 million pounds to try to expedite the England winger's move to Anfield, but Southampton are digging their heels in over a 30 million-pound valuation.
Brendan Rodgers would like a deal to be concluded before the World Cup, although Liverpool could still face competition from Tottenham.

Cavani keen to stay

This could be bad news for Manchester United and Chelsea, asL'Equipe reports that Edinson Cavani is "99 percent" certain to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Uruguayan hit man joined PSG for around 54 million pounds last summer, but he grew frustrated at being played in a wide role in a season that yielded 16 goals in 30 games.

However, it has now been reported that Laurent Blanc will tinker his tactics to appease Cavani, leaving the 27-year-old content to stay for another year and United's and Chelsea's hopes of a transfer dead in the water.

Vlad all over?

According to the Daily Express, Vlad Chiriches is shuffling toward the Tottenham exit less than a year after he joined the club for 7.5 million pounds from Steaua Bucharest.

The 24-year-old suffered an injury-hit debut season in England and is now angling for a switch to Fiorentina, which could see former Manchester City defender Stefan Savic move in the opposite direction.

Chiriches' agent, Florin Manea, told sport.ru: "Did you see how little he played? I believe he will not remain in England. I think he will go to Fiorentina. I understand [Tottenham] are interested in Savic."

Aguero chase heats up

Following reports this week that Real Madrid are plotting a 60 million-pound bid for Sergio Aguero, Manchester City's hopes of holding on to the striker have taken another blow.

According to Aguero's father, Leonel del Castillo, the 25-year-old has his heart set on a transfer to Barcelona to link up with Argentina teammate Lionel Messi.
Spanish paper Sport claims that Barca are ready to spend 30 million pounds on Aguero, whose dad told radio station COPE his son would be "delighted" to move to the Camp Nou.

Manuel Pellegrini must be scratching his head at two key players wanting to leave so soon after winning the title.

Keepy-uppies

The Daily Star reports that Angel Di Maria could leave Real Madrid unless he's made to feel loved by the Champions League winners. You can cross Tottenham off the list of possible destinations, however, after the Argentine was less than impressed with links to the north London club. "It hurts when you’re always doing your best for your club and then you hear that you might be going to Tottenham," he said.

- It looks like Jack Colback has hit the jackpot in his search for a new team as The Guardian reports that West Ham are prepared to offer the midfielder 50,000 pounds a week. Colback’s Sunderland contract expires at the end of June and the Hammers are keen to swoop with a deal that would quadruple his current wages.

- Newcastle have been knocked back in their bid to sign Remy Cabella from Montpellier, says The Telegraph. The playmaker has attracted plenty of interest after hitting 14 goals in 37 matches this season, but he won’t be allowed to leave on the cheap. "Over the past 10 days we've received two or three offers, including one of 8 million euros which does not meet our expectations," said Montpellier chairman Laurent Nicollin.

How do I remove a computer virus?

This question is a very simple question for you, go through this articles,
This information applies to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Internet Explorer 8.
Here are a few things you can try to remove a computer virus:
Keep your antivirus program up to date. If you have already installed an antivirus program on your computer, it's important that you keep it up to date. Because new viruses are being written all the time, most antivirus programs are updated frequently. Check your antivirus program's documentation or visit their website to learn how to receive updates. Be aware that some viruses block common antivirus websites, making it so you cannot go to the website to download antivirus updates. If this happens, check with your antivirus vendor to see if they have a disc you can use to install the latest updates. It might be possible for you to create this disc on a computer that is not infected (for example, on a friend's computer).
Use an online scanner. If you don't have antivirus software installed, visit the Windows Vista Security Software Providers website for more information about security and virus prevention. Some of the partner sites offer free online scanners which will search your computer for the latest viruses. These scanners will not protect you from getting a virus, but they can help find and remove viruses your computer already has.
Download the Microsoft Safety Scanner. Microsoft offers the Microsoft Safety Scanner. Visit the Microsoft Safety Scannerwebsite for more information.

Stop a runaway virus. Viruses are often created specifically to take control of your computer and send copies of themselves from your computer to other computers. You can usually tell this is happening if your computer is performing slowly and accessing the network more frequently than normal. If this is happening, you should disconnect from the Internet and network (if you're on one). If you are connected to the Internet through a physical connection, disconnect the network or phone cable from your computer. If you're connected to the Internet through a wireless connection on a laptop, turn off the wireless adapter on the computer (either by turning off a switch or removing your wireless adapter card). Once your computer is disconnected from the Internet, run your antivirus software (from a disc or software on your computer) to remove the virus.
Manually remove viruses. Sometimes a virus must be removed manually. This is often a technical process and should only be attempted by computer users who have experience with the Windows registry and who know how to view and delete system and program files in Windows.
The first step is to identify the virus. Run your antivirus software to identify the name of the virus. If you don't have an antivirus program, or if your program does not detect the virus, you can still identify the virus by looking for clues about how it behaves. Write down the text in any messages displayed by the virus or, if you received the virus in e‑mail, write down the subject line or name of the file attached to the message. Search the antivirus vendor's website for references to those specific things you wrote down to try to find the name of the virus and instructions for how to remove it.
Ok, my virus is gone, now what? Once a virus is removed, you might have to reinstall some software, or restore lost information. Doing regular backups can go a long way toward easing the pain of a virus attack. If you haven't kept backups, start now. To learn how to help prevent future attacks, see How can I help protect my computer from viruses?

The Liga club have also confirmed they will not renew Jose Manuel Pinto's contract, while Rafinha and Gerard Deulofeu have returned from their loan spells

Barcelona have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Germany international announced in January that he would not be renewing his deal with the Bundesliga club and has long been tipped to replace Victor Valdes, who is set to leave Camp Nou this summer.

Ter Stegen's prospective move to Spain was thrown into doubt when Barcelona were handed a two-window transfer ban in April for breaching rules over the signing of international players under the age of 18, but the suspension was subsequently put on hold.

Confirmation of Ter Stegen's arrival was announced on the same day as Luis Enrique's appointment as Barcelona's new coach.

The Liga club have also revealed that Jose Manuel Pinto, who served as first-choice keeper following a season-ending knee injury to Valdes in March, will not have his contract renewed, while Rafinha and Gerard Deulofeu have returned from respective loan spells with Celta Vigo and Everton.

Deulofeu made 29 appearances for Roberto Martinez's side, scoring four goals, while attacking midfielder Rafinha, the younger brother of former Barcelona playmaker Thiago Alcantara, impressed at Celta under Luis Enrique this season, making 32 La Liga appearances.

Dimitri Seluk says that the 31-year-old has been disrespected by his current employed and claimed that the chance of the midfielder at the Ethad stadium are 50-50

Yaya Toure's agent admits that the Manchester City midfielder would consider a return to Barcelona.

Earlier on Tuesday, the player's representative claimed that City had disrespected the Cote d'Ivoire by not wishing him a happy birthday at an event in Abu Dhabi on May 13.

Toure spent three seasons at Barcelona before joining City in July 2010 and Dimitri Seluk maintains that the Spanish club is "another home" for the 31-year-old.

"He is a very professional player and he will work hard for any club he plays for. Every club he has been at he has been one of the best players, if not the best," the agent told talkSPORT.

"It's difficult to say now [where his future lies]; maybe after the World Cup we'll know more about his emotions and the situation.

"But what I do know is that the staff at Barcelona, the players and the fans all like Yaya very much. Barca is one of his former clubs, he had a great time there and it's like another home for him.

"It's obviously the same at Manchester City. The fans love him very much, they understand Yaya is a great player.

"If people don't give us attention we will forget about them and work with other people."

Seluk has claimed that Toure wants to leave City at the end of each of the past two seasons and again believes that it is uncertain whether the midfielder will remain with the Premier League champions this summer.

"Honestly, it's not 100 per cent he will stay at Manchester City, it's better to say 50-50,” he remarked.

"I tell you this is not about cake, more importantly it is about attention. Yaya can buy cake for everybody and it's no problem from him.

"When Yaya is on the pitch he works very hard for the entire 90 minutes. He takes the ball from his own half and runs the entire length of the field and scores beautiful goals. There aren't too many players who can do this.

"He has motivation to play well for City, he fights for City, but he feels he fights for the team and the club forget about him. It's very upsetting for him."

How Many Miles is the Earth From the Sun?

The terrestrial planets
The Earth is the third planet from the Sun, and the largest of the terrestrial planets. But how many miles is the Earth from the Sun? The Earth’s average distance from the Sun, which astronomers call the semimajor axis, is 92.96 million miles.
But remember that this is an average number. The Earth actually follows an elliptical path around the Sun. At the closest point of its orbit, called perihelion, the Earth is only 91.40 million miles. And then when it’s out at the most distant point of its orbit, called aphelion, the Earth reaches 94.51 million miles.
Astronomers use the Earth’s average distance from the Sun as a standard yardstick for measuring distances in the Solar System. This Earth Sun distance is called an astronomical unit. So, the average distance from the Earth to the Sun is 1 astronomical unit, or 1 AU; and the distance from Mars to the Sun is 1.524 AU, on average. And the average distance from Pluto to the Sun is 39.48 AU.
We have written many articles about Earth for Universe Today. Here’s an article about the temperature of Earth, and here’s an article about why the Earth has seasons.
The shape of the earth is spherical in shape
Distances in the Solar System
Ancient astronomers, especially the Greeks, tried estimating the distance to the Sun in several different ways: measuring the length of shadows on Earth, or comparing the size of the Moon and its orbit to the Sun. Unfortunately, their estimates were off at least by a factor of 10.
The key to figuring out the distance to the Sun came from observing Venus as it passed directly in front of the Sun. This rare event, known as a Transit of Venus, happens only twice every 108 years. Once devised, the best opportunities for taking this precise measurement came during the Venus transits of 1761 and 1769. Astronomers were dispatched to remote corners of the globe to observe the precise moment when Venus began to move in front of the Sun, and when it had moved completely across the surface.
By comparing these measurements, astronomers could use geometry to calculate exactly how far away the Sun is. Their initial calculations put the distance at 24,000 times the radius of the Earth. Not bad considering our modern measurement of 23,455 times the radius of the Earth.
Modern astronomers can use radar and laser pulses to calculate the distance to objects in the Solar System. For example, they fire an intense beam of radio waves at a distant object, like Mercury, and then calculate how long it takes for the waves to bounce off the planet and return to Earth. Since the speed of light is well known, the return travel time tells you how far away the planet is.
Astronomy has truly helped us find our place in the Universe. It nice to be living in a time when many of these big mysteries have been solved. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what’s around the corner of the next discovery.
